taking pictures is a great way to make money. I did that this past summer and I was able to make a lot of money in a very short time.

It's not a summer job, but if you have just graduated and want to work somewhere new for a year try teaching English in China. You could be also be a part time wedding consultant or photographer for much more an hour over here. Rich Chinese will pay a lot for a foreign influenced wedding - especially if a foreigner is visibly involved.
