10. Pin Curl

The Pin Curl evolved as a fashionable hair style in the 40’s; however it has remained a popular hair style for high school proms. The Pin Curl make look like it would take a long time, but an experienced hairstylist can set up a traditional pin curl hairdo in less than an hour.

9.  Casual Side Bun

Casual Side Bun

The casual side bun is an extremely easy hairstyle. The hardest part tends to be getting the hair bunched up properly for the side bun. The key to setting this hairstyle properly is to make sure you are comfortable with how the bun is sitting. This hairstyle is quick, easy, and can look very sexy with your prom dress. At the end of the night it is very simple to remove the styling and go back to your regular hairdo style.

8.  Bobbed Hair

The bobbed hair style is very similar to the casual side bun, except there is not a hair bun on this style of hair. It is simple, fast, and looks very elegant with a low-cut prom dress.

Short hair on women is very sexy and will definitely help you to stand out at the prom. With all of the girls sporting very long and intricate hair styles, you will look just as good with your short hair. Add some blonde highlights into your hair the day of your prom and you will be set. Blonde highlights look great regardless of whatever color of natural hair you have.

6.  Sloppy Curly

Sloppy Curly

Many prom hair trends have forced girls to try and ensure that every single strand of hair is in place and looks just right. The sloppy curly style of hairdo is great because it intentionally leaves hair not aligned perfectly on the head. When you are out dancing and partying at your prom you do not have to worry about the sloppy curly hairstyle getting messed up. The sloppy curly looks casual when you have on jeans or sweats; however this exact hair style will look very trendy when you are wearing your beautiful dress at prom.

If you have big ears and do not like to show them off then this is one of the best prom hair styles to wear to keep your big ears hidden.

3. Simple Sweep

This hairstyle is similar to the pin curl, except the curls are not as tight and are more flowing.  This hair style is one of the hottest trends for proms. This is truly an iconic hairdo for proms. In 20 years you can look back at your prom pictures and not look dorky. This hairstyle will look super hot even in the future. Your dress may be out of style and look old fashioned in 20-30 years; however this hairstyle will stand out as being stylish clear into the future.

Zero Bald

Plus one hot no-hair! Yes, bald hair for women is one of the hot hair trends for women. There are many women who have shaved their head to donate the hair to organizations such as Locks of Love. These organizations use the donated hair to make hairpieces for women who have suffered hair loss from the chemotherapy used to treat their cancer. Many women who are not affected by cancer have chosen to shave their head to support a friend or family member who is stricken with cancer.

Going bald to your senior prom is a bold choice, but you will definitely stand out. A hot strapless prom gown, makeup, and a smooth and shiny head will make you one of the chic sexy girls at your prom. If you are bold and want to make a statement that truly matters than shave your head for Locks of Love and then head to the prom.

When others ask why you shaved you head you can give them flowers that explain why you did it. You do not have to shave your head to support cancer patients, but a shaved head on a young girl at prom is a great way to make a statement and get attention for your cancer awareness message.

I love looking at my daughter's friends prom pictures-especially the hair! Fortunately for me, my daughter's high school has no junior prom (and she is a junior),so I saved a lot of money not having her get a prom hairstyle for her waist length hair. Great photos!
