Oregon is a state with a large amount of natural resources such as forests and trails and of course many rivers which host fishermen from around the world and it is home to some of the best cities to live in Oregon. It also has the gorgeous coastline on the Pacific Ocean and north into Washington with some of the best cities in Oregon to live and enjoy the coastline. There is a diverse landscape home to many fish species that ply the rivers and the Willamette Valley home to many excellent wineries. Plus it is home to many birds and other wildlife and some excellent hiking trails as well.

1) Grants Pass

This is one of the most exciting cities to live in Oregon because it is located so close to many national and state parks. Also the Rogue River flows through it which is a fisherman’s dream river for Steelhead and Salmon. Every Saturday during the summer it is home to an excellent Grower’s Market which has growers from the area showcasing their produce for sale as it comes into a perfect eating condition. 4) Portland

This city is located about 70 miles from the Pacific Ocean and sits on a gorgeous location at the Columbia and Willamette Rivers which makes it one of the prettiest best cities to live in Oregon. Portland is home to glass blowers studios and has a large arts community. If you live in Portland you are a short distance from the Willamette Valley wineries, many green spaces and parks within the city limits and a healthy climate too.

5) Gold Beach

6) Brookings

10) Tillamook
