10 Strategies To Find Time To Talk: Long Distance Relationship Advice

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 1 2

It seems that one of the many questions that couples who happen to be in a long distance relationship want to have is how they can get more time to talk. Here are 10 long distance relationship advice to making it work in spite of the distance.

1. While in your commute to your workplace/school. After all, driving is boring, and it is even more unexciting when you are missing your long distance love. Instead of making the commute alone, calling your partner can definitely get started with your day out on a confident note.

2. Waiting in lines. While nobody wants to be that irritating person who is on the mobile phone while they are carrying out business, rather than waiting in lines in silence, try inserting a quick call to your significant other.

3. When you are waking up. A wonderful way to sustain your long distance relationship alive is to talk when you are both waking up. If time dissimilarities make this out of the question, place a quick call to your long distance lover when you wake up.

4. Trapped in traffic. You cannot find any better time to talk than when you're sitting in total halt traffic. It will make the time pass quicker, and who knows it may even make you hope you're trapped in traffic occasionally.

5. Video chat dinner date. With a long distance partnership, enjoying a dinner date probably appears like a thing of the past. Frequently having video dinner dates is a great way to bridge the gap.

6. During your favorite television show. Do you and your long distance love have a television show which you both like to watch? Watching the same show while communicating on the phone, is a fun way of building your long distance relationship work.

7. During your lunch break. Getting in touch with your significant other on your lunch time is another method of making it work. Even if you don't have a long break, keep in mind that even 5 minutes is preferable than not communicating at all.

8. In the course of housework. Speaking with your long distance love if you are cleaning your home can make mundane tasks more fun.

9. Inside the grocery store. Rather than shopping for groceries alone, take your long distance love with you. It'll make your long distance relationship seem more authentic and tangible.

10. Running weekend errands. Do you always have a long list of weekend errands? Talking to your lover during your errands is a terrific way to spend your weekend.
