13 Firefox Keyboard Shortcuts to Save Time
It took me a little while to warm up to Mozilla's Firefox but after using it for a few weeks, I have never intentionally gone back to using Microsoft's Internet Explorer since. Heck, I despise it when I'm at some body's house and they don't have a copy of Firefox for me to browse with.If you can become proficient using keyboard short cuts you are well on your way to becoming a Firefox power user. The following keyboard shortcuts are some of the most common time savers available in Firefox.
Some of these Keyboard shortcuts may work in Internet Explorer and other browsers, but some don't. So if you want to use them, download yourself the latest version of Firefox and you can thank me later.
- Ctrl+F (find)
- Alt-N (find next)
- Ctrl+D (bookmark page)
- Ctrl+T (new tab)
- Ctrl+K (go to search box)
- Ctrl+L (go to address bar)
- Ctrl+= (increase text size)
- Ctrl+- (decrease text size)
- F5 (refresh page)
- Alt-Home (go to home page)
- Ctrl-W (close tab)
- Spacebar (page down)
- Shift-Spacebar (page up)
Now get out there and surf the web and put these Firefox keyboard shortcuts to use!
