2009 GT Aerostream bicycle for women

By Edited Nov 28, 2015 0 0

The 2009 GT Aerostream bicycle for women is a bike designed for fun. This cruiser uses a Nexus 3 speed internal gear for easy maintenance and worry free riding year round. This womens bicycle is designed for cruising the neighborhood and the town. The 3 gears basically offer you one low gear for going up hills, one high gear for downhills and one speed for the flats. Its simplicity may be the deciding factor for someone looking to get into cycling.

Unlike a road bike with dropped handlebars the GT Aerostream is built for comfort. The high handlebars allows a relaxed posture that is perfect for casual bike rides. The GT Aerostream also uses the Gates Belt Drive.

The Gates Belt Drive means this is a chainless bike. No greasy chain and the bicycle will pedal quietly. The GT Aerostream will last for many years with only occasional tune ups at your locale bike shop.

Fenders and a rack are included with the GT Aerostream at no additional cost as well as a bag for lugging groceries home from the store.

The 2009 GT Aerostream retails for $549.99 but is available from REI for $499.00. You can still buy the 2009 GT Aerostream from some bicycle retailers at a discounted rate. The 2010 GT Aerostream bike is discounted at most bike shops that have one in stock as more people are opting to buy a 2011 GT Aerostream.

The GT Aerostream bicycle for women uses a Gates Belt drive, which is becoming extremely popular with bicycle riders around the Country. The Gates chainless drive is not messy and easier to care for mechanically, especially when compared to a traditional chain driven bicycle. Image Credit: (Flickr/RichardMasoner)
