My mother waltzed into my room a couple days ago, woke me up, and declared that we were going to see 2012. I had seen the previews, all the trailers, and personally, it looked a bit too much for me, but i'm all up for new experiences. I got dressed and we hopped in the car. I was really nervous because I don't do well with scary movies, AT ALL. I don't like scaring myself for the thrills, and I especially don't participate in something if I know it'll terrify me. My mother kept reassuring me that it wasn't a scary movie, so I took her word for it.

The movie is over 2 hours long, and when I walked out of that theater, I felt powerful. I felt like I had the knowledge of a thousand men. This movie was packed with action, adventure, and love. The suspense was intense, and I didn't close my eyes for a single moment.

2012 is easily the most thrilling movie I have seen in years. It's definitely one of my top 5 favorites. Although, the downside is I know it isn't going to be as good on my television compared to a giant theater screen, but it doesn't matter, because i am buying it on DVD regardless. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves tragic, "world-ending" movies. You'll love this.

Thanks for your review, I was not sure that I was interested in seeing this movie, but now I think I will, but in the theater, to be sure. big effects call for a big screen! Thanks and keep on writing!

Also, just a side note, I think in the cons section above you may have wanted to use the word "used", not "sued"... Just a typo, I'm sure!
