By | Aug 22, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Pocatello Creek

Get a ride to the top of Pocatello Creek road and ride back into town. You can ride both directions but going uphill sucks. Riding gradual downhill descents is a lot more fun than forcing your cranks as you go uphill lat a 45 degree angle.

The ride down is not only fun but also has a lot of beautiful wooded scenery. When you get to town you can stop at the Jacksons Gas Station and get a RockStar energy drink or whatever else you want to refresh with.

City Creek Trail

Again you can ride to the top of this dirt trail but that sucks. Get a pick-up to drop you off at the top and then ride downhill rapidly. Leave your carbon fiber Trek Madone at home and bring the Gary Fisher Mountain Bike.

When you hit the bottom you can either do it again or you can ride into downtown Pocatello and get lunch.

Idaho State University

Idaho State University is a fun place to cruise around on a bicycle at. You can meet a wide variety of people at this Universities Campus. You are also only a brief ride from the Space Burger fast food place where you can get the Iron Port drink straight out of the soda fountain.

Pocatello Bicycle Riding

Pocatello has a lot of awesome opportunities for all types of bikers. Whether you ride a road bike, mountain bike or even a Suzuki TU 250 you can find a lot of riding opportunities in Pocatello Idaho. Pocatello also has Scotts Ski and Sports which stocks a lot of nice bicycles at their new location on Yellowstone Avenue. If you like to ride bicycles then you will find Pocatello to be a great community in which to live. Pocatello is almost a mountain biker's paradise. You can find many dirt trails that are located just minutes from the active downtown area. If you like bicycles then you should enjoy Pocatello.
