3 Ways To Burn More Fat During Your Next Workout

If you're working out to get leaner and thinner, these tips will prove very useful to you. In this article I want to share with a number of tips that will help you burn more fat during your upcoming workouts.

If you apply these tips, I am certain that you will see faster and long lasting results.

 

Here are the tips:

1. Use free weights or do bodyweight exercises – If you want to make your body work harder, do more exercises with free weights or using your body as resistance and work less with machines.

 

The reason for this is that your body naturally works harder when it has to stabilize the weights or when it works in its natural environment. Machines can be useful but they do take away some of the difficulty of the exercise. This happens because the machines allow you to move the weights in just one direction. You don't need to keep them stable and your movement is not natural.

This is why I like free weights and bodyweight training. Bodyweight training can be very effective as long as learn how to do it right. I learned some great exercises from a program called Shapeshifter Body Redesign.

2. Do supersets – Most people train in the following way: they choose an exercise, do about 10 reps and then rest before doing another set. A super-set is created when you do two separate exercises one after the other. For instance, you do a chest press followed by chest flies. Without rest in between. This makes the overall workout much harder, leading to a higher calorie burn total.

3. Work on big muscles – One way to burn more calories is to make more of your body work. An easy way to do so is to train your bigger muscles more than you do your smaller ones. When you work on your bigger muscles, you bring more muscle tissue into the action. This leads to more calories being used up. Your big muscles are located in your legs, chest and back. So, do more exercises that work on these muscles and you will see results.
