1. Drinking water is essential to any weight loss plan. The body needs water to operate at peak efficiency. The more effiiecent your body runs, the more fat you will burn. Water helps cells rejuvenate and flushes unwanted by-products from your system. Water does not have sugar or other properties that would hinder your weight loss. Therefore, water is most important to your overall weight loss strategy
2. Plenty of exercise is important if you want to experience weight loss. Your body uses calories as energy to cary out every function of the body. It is like gasoline. The more your body runs, the more fuel it needs, just like a car. The calories are stored in your body in the form of fat. The trick is to burn more calories than you take in when eating. The best way to accomplish this is to excersise. When excersising, your body can burn up to 100% more than you would if you were sitting doing nothing. Excersising 3 to 4 days a week for 30 minutes at a time is a great way to effectively burn more calories than you take in.
3. Get more sleep. It has been shown that sleeping plays a direct role in weight loss. When you are asleep, your body is able to recover properly from the days activities. It is important for you to sleep because that is the time when your body rebuilds your muscles as well. During this process, your body is able to take the necessary calories, or fat, and use it to rejuvinate the parts of the body that need to be fixed. The more sleep you get, the more time you are giving your body to fix itself.
These 3 things will help you lose weight when they are done on a consistent basis. The problem that most people run into deals with not following through. The time frame you should shoot for is 6 months. It seems like a long time, but 6 months is optimal for giving your body plently of time to lose weight.
Sidenote- Diet drinks have always been a point of contraversy. There is evidence that people gain weight when they drink diet sodas and there are people who don't gain weight. The rule of thumb is you should always be drinking 128 ounces of water a day. If you are drinking the water, then the diet soda is fine. Just remember that consistency is everything. Day after day is the real way to lose weight.
