4 Celebrity Diets That Work

By Edited Aug 27, 2016 0 0

Here are 4 celebrity diets that work and that will work extremely fast for you to lose a ton of weight in almost no time at all. See for yourself what worked for Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow and others.

The Beyonce “Syrup” Diet

Well Beyonce did not invent this diet but she made it famous. She was looking a little podgy and thanks to this diet and some discipline, she managed to lose 22 pounds in just 10 days!

She did this to make the weight for her latest film and then straight after she gorged on her “momma’s fried chicken” and put the weight straight back on!

So remember, extreme diets do work but just remember to go onto a proper weight loss program after where you lose the weight at half the speed of the extreme way, but it is sustainable and permanent. Here are the details of the diet.

Take a one gallon jug and mix together:

  • 3 quarts of water
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Drink around 10 glasses per day. And do this for about a week. Even though Beyonce did it for longer, that’s not recommended.

Be warned, this diet will really clean you out and while it’s doing so, you won’t feel great. But just think of how you will look in 10 days after losing all that weight – that’s what you need to remember! Just to warn you, you may get cravings for good, fatigue and even in some cases headaches and diarrhoea.

Baby Food Diet

I know this sounds crazy but it really works. Hedi Slimane, former head designer at Dior used it, as have Jennifer Aniston and Marcia Cross.

The great thing about this diet is that it’s really easy. You just buy regular baby food which you can also be assured to be free from artificial and unnecessary additives.

Or you can make your own food at home but it must resemble baby food so: simple, mushed up etc.

Bananas and mashed potato are common. Here’s an example to give you an idea:

  • Breakfast: mashed up banana or porridge.
  • Lunch: vegetables or fish (ideally from a baby food jar).
  • Dinner: liquidised chicken and potato.

Only water is allowed for liquid refreshment. No caffeine whatsoever – think like “baby”.

Although this is called the “baby food” diet, it’s actually closer to a fruit, vegetable and protein diet which is not a bad thing at all. And if you eat the porridge or something similar for breakfast then you’ll also get a good dose of fibre too.

So how much weight can you use? It depends on how little you eat. But losing 6 pounds in a week is easily achievable.

Clearly, this diet is not sustainable so a good program like Strip That Fat is clearly needed after a week of this.

Cabbage Soup Diet

This diet is a fantastic way to lose 10 pounds in a week (or more if you want). Contrary to what people may think, it is actually really tasty. It is NOT just cabbage, you can add all kinds of ingredients seasoning.

The idea is that you can do this for a week, that’s what’s recommended. Although personally I have done it for a little longer.

Here is an example recipe, you can find tons more simply by Googling for “cabbage soup diet recipe”:

  • green onions
  • green peppers
  • canned tomatoes
  • carrots
  • mushrooms
  • celery
  • cabbage
  • bouillon
  • V8 juice

The best thing about this diet is that you can eat as much of this tasty soup as you want to. There are no limits: basically if you feel hungry, have some more soup. So you don’t really need any discipline with this one.

Juice Fast Diet

This is a very low calorie diet that will also cleanse you out and detox you really well. But don’t do it for any longer than 2 days.

Basically, you can drink only fruit and vegetable juices. So you’ll only be getting maybe 400 to 500 calories per day at most with this diet. I find this especially useful if you check the scales and see if you’ve occasionally gained a pound or two – then this diet will get rid of it fast and get you back on the road to permanent weight loss.

Gwyneth Paltrow loves this diet and she even did a version that lasted 3 weeks long!

Some good fruits and vegetables (preferably organic) to make a juice from are:

  • celery
  • carrot
  • kale
  • cabbage
  • apple
  • pineapple
  • cranberry
  • spinach
  • beet

Generally, citrus fruits are not a good idea because they are too acidic.

If you find it too hard to drink nothing but juice then you can also add one meal per day. I recommend this to be eaten NOT in the evening. For breakfast or in the afternoon is best.
