5 Date Ideas To Do On A Budget

By Edited Jun 3, 2015 0 0

Are you looking for something fun to do with that new person in your life? Are you married but just need some time to reconnect with your spouse? If so, check out these five ideas that will shake up your dates without going broke.

1.  Have A Picnic

A picnic is a perfect alternative to just the same old restaurant. You decide the destination. It could be in a park, next to a body of water, or at the end of a hiking trail. A picnic is more  intimate and unique than just eating out and going to a movie.  Another perk is that you would have more privacy than your average restaurant.

Who doesn't want to eat their lunch on a blanket in the sun?  No shoes. No problem. So grab your cheap bottle of wine and enjoy your relaxing date together.

If your feet get too dirty, your going to love this next idea.

2. Get A Pedicure

Nothing is better than having your feet washed and massaged, while having your back rubbed, and making conversation with the person you are interested in.

You guys out there, believe me, there is nothing better.

This is a fun, entertaining idea that should only set each person back about $20.

Women love pedicures, and the men who have gotten them love them too.

 3.  Go For A Scenic Bike Ride

Everyone loves to ride bikes. They are just so much fun! What a perfect way to have some fun with your date while getting some exercise and enjoying beautiful scenery around you. Most people already have a bike, and if you don't they are usually cheap to rent. Enjoy the great outdoors by jumping on a bike and going for a ride with your partner!

 4.  Enjoy a Free Concert or Movie in the Park

In the summer going to a free outdoor concert or movie in the park is a great idea. Just bring a blanket and any snacks along and you're good to go.

You can easily just go online and print out a list of the dates and times of what is showing in your area. In most areas there are a variety of free things to do in the summer including free plays and comedy shows.

5. Shop at a Thrift Store

"I'm gonna pop some tags, I got $20 in my pocket. This is awesome."  Why do you think this was such a big hit? Because Macklemore knows that everyone loves some thrift shopping!

Hunting for clothes is like a treasure hunt. You just don't know what you're going to find! The two of you can have a blast trying on all sorts of serious or silly things together. Thrift shops will have anything from old books to furniture. The best news is  that if you do decide to buy something,  it will usually be at quite a discount.

So there you have it.  Five date night ideas that are intimate, fun, and cheap. Now go have some fun on your next night out!
