Do Stock Your Kitchen With
Healthy Food
If it’s in
your house, you’re going to eat it whether it is good or bad. So stock up
on healthy foods that you like – try yogurt, eggs, fruits, vegetables, fish,
and white meat chicken and turkey. To curb impulse purchases, make a
shopping list and don’t go to the grocery store when you are hungry.
Don’t Buy Refined Sugars
That means any packaged treats –
cookies, candy, cake, pie, etc. Bite the bullet and cut them from your
diet for a week and see how you feel. You may be surprised to find how
good and healthy you feel.
Do Use Weight Loss Supplements Only As Directed
Weight loss pills are often used in
conjunction with a diet. If you decide to take a weight loss supplement,
follow all directions and only use as directed.
Don’t Eat Out Everyday
Especially fast food that has little
nutrients and that’s high in fat! Furthermore, restaurant portions are grotesquely
oversized, so you will likely eat far more than you would at home.
Do Get Enough Sleep
Did you know sleep deprivation can actually lead to weight gain? When you don’t get enough sleep, your body
produces an excess of Ghrelin, a hormone in the stomach that increases hunger. In addition, it produces less Leptin, the
hormone that causes satiety.
