Most women wear their engagement rings and wedding bands together. That why bridal sets wedding rings became common. A bridal set is two pairs of rings worn together, the engagement ring and the wedding ring. Often wedding ring designers include the groom’s wedding band, this is called the triple set.

Most brides opt to go for the bridal set. Brides choose the bridal set wedding rings as it puts together the engagement ring and the wedding band in to a uniform design. Wedding ring designers go for a uniform metal choice, gemstones, style and accents.

A woman may wear matching engagement rings and wedding rings , however there are more to this than the band.

Types of Bridal Set Wedding Rings

Parallel Set

Traditional rings which form a coordinated set that might be worn together or a single ring. The rings are neither curved nor twisted out of shape. Instead, they lie next to each other in classic elegance.

Wedding ring designers opt to go for either a simple detail such as inset stone or paved settings on the wedding band. This is so that elaborate details may not hold up the brilliance of the bride’s engagement ring when the two bands are worn together.

Integrated rings

With a more intricate design, an integrated engagement and wedding ring  is designed with a coordinating  diamond ring wrap. Integrated rings do not seem suitable if not together as they would appear incomplete.

The ring wrap, most often the wedding band, brings in accent stones and finishing details to the diamond engagement ring.

The integrated bridal sets wedding rings are not recommended for women who love an active lifestyle as they are often not worn separately. They are vulnerable, and if one ring is damaged both rings have to be turned over for repairs.

Also, it forfeits the right to an engagement ring as the two should be joined together for a good fit.  Moreover, one ring cannot be passed over as a heirloom, as it is already part of a set.

Ring Enhancers

Ring enhancers are similar to the integrated rings, although they could be worn separately. If you have square diamond engagement rings, you might need wedding ring enhancers.

Trio rings

This bridal set wedding rings include the engagement ring and the bride’s  wedding band  and the groom’s wedding band.  A lot of couples opt for this set as they opt for coordination with their wedding rings.

Customized sets

Many people have unusual themed weddings, and with that comes unique engagement rings and wedding bands. There are those who specially have their jewelleries made to order.  Some prefer a specific precious metal, while some go for two tone or even multi tone design to have a dramatic contrast within the rings.

Some couples, however, favour multiple stones inside their engagement rings and wedding bands. You may also get square diamond engagement rings and a matching wedding ring. That is why they like better ring diamonds with a few accents or added stones. They desire to put in diamonds not only in the engagement ring, but also in the wedding bands.

Other couples like to add semi precious gem stones so to enhance the wedding bands color. Other couples might want to invest in the carat weight.
