I ain't too crazy about meat my self, being a vegetarian, but here are some very interesting facts that may make you think twice about chowing down on that hamburger.

7. This is what the Chicken McNuggets ® from McDonald's are made of.
White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, chicken flavor (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary). Battered and breaded with: water, enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch. Prepared in vegetable oil ((may contain one of the following: Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness), dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent).
Seems like a lot more than just 'chicken'.

6. Have you seen this? Warning! Not for the faint-hearted.

5.
"Downer" cow is a term used to describe cattle that are about to die or very ill. When the cattle come to the slaughter house, they are covered in their(and other cattle's) fecal matter. This greatly increases the risks of E. Coli, mad cow disease, and other diseases getting into your hamburger or hot dog.

4. You aren't alone, a poll done by the Vegetarian Resource Group in 2003 shows some positive results for vegetarians. Here are the results.

3. Most (all) chickens that you find in the supermarket are loaded and loaded with lots of antibiotics, hormones, and arsenic. This gives the farmer a healthy chicken that can produce many more eggs than the regular, non-scientifically engineered, chicken. This is why turkeys have gigantic breasts, pigs have long backs, and cattle has an giant utter.

2. Men and women who eat lots of meat frequently put themselves at risk for osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis. This is when the artery walls are coated over and over with plaque and may block the arteries completely. This stop the movement of blood to your brain and vital organs. About 1.3 million people in the United States suffer from heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, diseases each year. All theses people have been found to have a large consumption rate of animal flesh.

1. Research shows that vegetarians are 50%t less likely to develop heart disease than those who eat meat. Vegetarians have 40 percent of the cancer rate of meat-eaters. Not to mention, meat-eaters are 9 times more likely to become obese than vegetarians are.
