Pros

A few of my favorite things about Wealthy Affiliate include:

1. The Forums - Talk about being motivated! This is the place I go when I am feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. After a few minutes, I realize that I am not alone and other people are exactly where I am. Almost every day someone posts about achieving their latest goal (many times far surpassing their expectations).

2. Learning Center - This is a tremendous resource that teaches to whatever level you are at. It even includes an 8-week action plan that takes you by the hand and tells you exactly what you should do. I really like action plans since they help avoid the usual distractions I face.

3. Niche Q - Are you serious? This is an amazing resource. I did not even know about this when I signed up. This feature by itself is worth the price of admission. Niche Q provides over 10,000 words on targeted niches. The research is done for you. All you have to do is take it and run a ways with it. I could not believe all of the sub-niches that were fully developed and just handed to me. Absolutely incredible!

4. Site Rubix - You do not even have to know how to create your own website. Site Rubix will do it all for you. These templates look sharp. I have not tried developing one personally yet, but I have seen a few from friends and they are simply amazing.

5. WA Jobs - Need some money while you are starting out? This resource allows you to bid for jobs that earn you money while you get started. If you are a decent writer, you could do very well.

6. You can pay your membership via paypal - I love this feature. In fact, if they did not offer this, I would not be able to subscribe since I use the funds I earn online to pay for fees such as this.

Cons

1. Cost - This is not a free website. Membership costs $39 per month.

2. Information Overload - As I mentioned, one of the worst things that can happen to a beginner is to be given too much information. At Wealthy Affiliate, there is more information and teaching resources than you can imagine. My advice would be to pick one concept, such as article marketing, and learn everything that is being taught about this subject before moving on to another subject.

Internet Marketing Overview

Let's face it! Developing an affiliate internet marketing program is hard work. It is so hard, in fact, that I would guess that more than ninety-five percent of the people who try it quit within six months. There are so many things that you have to consider; so many choices to make. Being overwhelmed is a serious problem that can derail any chance of success.

It is a fact that most beginners stumble upon internet marketing by mistake. Typically one might click on an Google or Yahoo Ad which promises to teach you how to make $100,000 by tomorrow afternoon with no work. They may even call it something like an 'automated website'. You may have even read a blog that blogged about how much money they made online. These 'make money online' blogs can make it all seem so easy.

The Wealthy Affiliate was created by a couple of guys who obtained their knowledge the hard way. They tested, and retested, adjusted and then split tested the process again. They used FREE traffic methods, paid traffic methods and everything in between. Along the way, they earned some money..... a lot of money.

As a way to give back, these entrepreneurs realized that they only thing most struggling internet marketers lacked was solid relationships. What many people fail to understand is that growing your business all by yourself is not the most effective or efficient method. Not by a long way!

Friendships are vital to the success of your business, especially when you are just beginning. With any new venture, the learning curve can be severe. It is so important to be able to power through these trying times, and Wealthy Affiliate can truly help accomplish your goals. Too many people quit before they really even get started because they do not see results overnight. Take some time and read through the forums and you will see that even those people who are making $1,000 a day once struggled just as you are. There is no secret button to push, or magic formula that will ensure you get rich overnight.

Wealthy Affiliate can teach you how to make money online only if you are willing to put in the required effort and commitment.
