The Design, The Look
The actual name of this device is the Micromax A 110. It can any day be proven to be the best Dual camera and Dual SIM produced by a domestic manufacturer. It has a sleek and slim look and is more efficient than any of its Micromax predecessors. The screen of the device is 5 inch long and comes with a IPS LCD touch screen. The dimensions of a Micromax A110 phone is 147mmx76.5mmx9.7mm. one cannot help but awe at the design of this phone, which weighs about 168 grams. Moreover the plastic bodies are a perfect fit in the body of the phone.
The home key is situated below the screen, along with the back key and menu touch keys. The USB connecting point and the charger connector are at the bottom of the phone where the mouthpiece is also located. You can control the volume through keys at the left side of phone. There is also the lanyard eyelet at the left side. The 3.5mm earjack is however at the top. At the right one will find the lock and the power keys. But, a single camera key is missing. A front facing, light sensor camera is also present at the top of the phone. The 8 mp dual LED flash camera is at the phone’s back, whereas the speaker grill is at the bottom.
Interface or the Operating System
The OS used by the Micromax A 110 is the Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich. As a result the device works the best to meet the needs of the users. The Dual Core 1 GHz MediaTek MT 6577 processor helps the device all the actions it performs. The Interface thus becomes all the more satisfactory. 3G speed was commendable and multitasking could be done in a smoother manner.
The battery used in the Micromax A110 is a standard Li-Ion 2000 mAH. It has high compatibility with the device and thus offers a superb functioning. It has been proven that the battery gave great service when run on 2G and performed commendably with in 3G. for a standard 2G usage the battery supported for 180 hours and 145 hours in case of a 3G use. Talk time was 5 hours and 4 hours for 2G and 3G respectively. Therefore the battery of the Canvas 2 is a moderate performer.
The camera is probably one of the best features of the Micomax A 110 Canvas . this 8 mp camera has a dual LED flash and an auto focus feature. The phone also has a front facing camera, which is of VGA format. The outdoor shots were just marvelous with an outstanding clarity of colors and shapes. Moreover, the shift from one image to being ready for the next capture was really quick. The camera supports, GIF, JPEG, PNG, AGIF, BMP, WBMP formats.
