- 6 tablespoons grated cocoa sticks
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 clove nutmeg
- 4-6 tablespoons of brown sugar to taste
- Optional 1 drop of Vanilla essence or a Vanilla pod once boiled

6 Easy Steps for St Lucian Hot Chocolate Tea
- Place the water in a saucepan on heat on the stove
- Grate 6 tablespoons of St. Lucia cocoa sticks and add to the pan
- Add cinnamon stick, grated nutmeg (to taste), and bay leaf to water and grated cocoa sticks
- Bring to a boil to infuse spices and chocolate
- Add the milk, sugar and vanilla to the pan and bring to the boil again
