By Edited Jun 24, 2015 0 0

It is so easy to become stressed, especially now-a-days. Maybe you have too much to do. You have to run a million different errands, keep up with your job or maybe school. You could be worried about money or your home. Whatever it is, it is a simple fact; it is easy to become stressed. Well, what about relieving these symptoms? You could maybe go to the gym, clean up, or go to the spa. My favorite is the spa. But they can be so expensive! So this article will show you the best homemade facials and which ones will work for your skin. There are many different masks you can create from just using ingredients at home. Don’t be grossed out by the weird ingredients. In the long run, they relax your skin and will leave it glowing.

We will start with the ingredients and how they help

Eggs- they can fade all sorts of scars as well as minimize wrinkles and tightens your pores

Pure lemon Juice- it contains vitamin C, which is good for your skin. It also reduces oiliness and blemishes

Cucumber- they reduce puffiness and cleanse your skin of any oils

Turmeric- it reduces wrinkles and leaves your skin brighter and glowing

Low-fat yogurt- this is good for your skin because it makes your skin even and firmer. It also helps to reduce wrinkles

Honey- it can rejuvenate your skin and leave it looking younger. Honey also helps to minimize blemishes.

Olive oil- it is high in vitamins A and E, which prevents sun damage. It also helps to keep your skin moisturized.

Orange Juice- it is full of vitamin C and can help clear up acne

Oatmeal- it exfoliates and hydrates your skin. It also makes your skin softer and even.

Bananas- they are full of vitamins and minerals which freshens your face and healthy

Papaya- it actually reduces stress and contains tons of minerals to brighten and firm up your skin. It also prevents wrinkles.

Now let’s move on to the actual mixtures!

Let’s start with the most basic ones.

  1. Start by beating an egg white and adding 5 to 10 drops of pure lemon juice. Apply it to your face smoothly and leave it on your face for 10 minutes. When it dries, add another layer and wait another 5 minutes. Be careful about your eyes. Then, wash it off.

  2. Use 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice, (or a few slices of smashed cucumbers with the seeds), and add 1 tablespoon of pure lemon juice and a tablespoon of turmeric. Then add 2 tablespoons of low-fat yogurt and smooth it onto your face evenly. Leave it on your face for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with cool water.

  3. This one is a bit simpler because it only uses 2 simple ingredients that most people already have in their homes. Begin by mixing 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of pure lemon juice together. Apply this mixture to your face and leave it on for a half hour. If the mixture is too sticky, consider adding 1 tablespoon of olive oil. After a half hour, wash it off with lukewarm water.

The next ones are oatmeal mixes.

  1. Mix together an egg white, a teaspoon of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and a tablespoon of honey. Apply this to your face and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Again, be careful of your eyes.

  2. Another oatmeal mix is to combine a half-cup of honey, a tablespoon of pure lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of cooked oatmeal and a dollop of non-fat yogurt. Apply this onto your face and wait for about a half of an hour before washing off.

Another mix has a base of bananas, which are full of vitamins and minerals.

  1. Mash half of a banana and add a tablespoon of orange juice and a tablespoon of honey. Spread the mixture evenly onto your face, avoiding your eyes, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash it off with a warm towel.

The next few mixtures will lighten your skin tone as well as evening it out.

  1. Mix together an egg white, a cup of papaya that is mashed, and one to two tablespoons of pure lemon juice. Then add in two tablespoons of sour cream or non-fat yogurt. Cool it in the fridge and apply it to your face. Rinse it after an hour.

  2. You could also mix half a cup of mashed papaya and two tablespoons of honey. Smooth it onto your face evenly and leave it on for about 20 minutes.

If you have oily skin, the next few facial mixes can help reduce oil and leave your skin fresh.

  1. Olive oil is a good ingredient. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and half a cup of oatmeal to an egg yolk and a tablespoon of honey. Leave it on your face for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Also make sure to pat dry to reduce irritation. .

  2. Another facial mix for oily skin is a quarter of a cup of non-fat yogurt, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of pure lemon juice. Mix it together and cool it in the fridge for 20 minutes before putting it on your face. Leave it on for about 20 to 30 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.

Hopefully, all of these homemade remedies will help. It is highly recommended to do them at least once a week to see best results. Also, before you begin, make sure you have all the ingredients. Wash your face well starting with lukewarm water and rinse it off with cool water to close up your pores. Pat dry. Do not scrub because it irritates your skin. When washing off the mask, again, use hot or lukewarm water, and splash a bit of cooler water after to close up your pores. If you enjoyed this article, than please check out some of my other ones.
