A List Of Irish Drinking Songs For Your Party

By Edited Jun 4, 2016 1 1

95 of the best Irish drinkin' tunes around.

Drinking Song(122439)

Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!
-An Irish Toast

If you're planning a St. Patrick's Day party, these tunes will keep the fun roaring late into the evening.  You are going to keep tradition and begin drinking in the morning, aren't you?

When I started this list I thought it would be fairly easy for me to put together since I listen to Celtic, Scottish, and Irish music occasionally… it wasn’t. Unfortunately, a lot of the music is hard to find.

In making this list I grouped Celtic, Scottish, and Irish music together, so don't be offended.  I'm an American that married a German girl and loves to drink Scotch, so there.  It doesn't get much more international than that.

A lot of these songs have been performed by many different bands, so you may like one version over another.  To add these songs to your collection, head over to Amazon and search for Irish Music.  Enjoy!

1- Live from Matt Molloy’s Pub by The Chieftains
2- Henry My Son by The Jolly Beggarmen
