Vitamin A is commonly found in fish, milk, bright colored fruits and vegetables. Although vitamin A has an anti-oxidant property, overdose of this vitamin can also cause hair loss that is because it is a fat-soluble vitamin. The body thus stores this vitamin easily and over dosage is more likely to happen. Too much of this vitamin can cause the hair follicles to inflame and also dry the skin.

* B Vitamins

Deficiency of vitamin C will cause hair breakage and split ends. However, increasing the vitamin C level in the system can reverse it. This vitamin is commonly found in citrus fruits, pineapple, tomatoes, peppers and green vegetables.
