Like most women, I enjoy pretty fragrances and using scents to express myself and make a statement. Most of my fragrances I buy at Bath and Body Works or at drugstores, but once in a while, I like to splurge on a designer scent. When I do, I sometimes end up discovering fragrances that are absolutely beautiful.

About a year ago, I purchased Lola by Marc Jacobs from a duty free shop on a cruise ship. The instant I sampled it, I fell in love. The scent is a mixture of floral and spicy notes, combining scents such as vanilla, pear, rose, grapefruit, peppercorns, and musk. Every time I wear it, men and women come up to me and ask me what I'm wearing. I have never gotten so many compliments on a perfume in my life. However, despite the attention it gets, the smell is never overpowering. In fact, while it's a perfume I save for special occasions, it is still subtle enough to wear to class or while I'm out running errands. It is my go-to fragrance for date nights because it is romantic, feminine, and flirty. As an added bonus, the shape of the bottle is absolutely adorable. The rose on top of the bottle makes it stand out from other perfumes on the market.

My only complaint with this fragrance is that it's a little hard to find. Most of the department stores I shop at only carry the fragrance online. Also, sixty dollars for a designer scent isn't too much to spend, but I wish I could have gotten a little more than 1.7 fluid ounces for that price. However, I'm absolutely certain I will be buying this perfume again.

If I had to give this a rating like an Amazon customer review, I would easily give this perfume five stars. The memories I have associated with this fragrance are absolutely beautiful, and in my opinion, the right scent can create amazing memories. Despite my complaints about its availability and price, this is hands-down my favorite fragrance that I own.
