Geography is the study of the interrelationships between the earth and its people. The field of geography is considered both a physical science and social science. Geography focuses on (for example) climate, land, water, space, mineral resources, population density, changes in the environment, how people adapt to those changes, populations, migration, transportation, and much more. Geography is an especially worthwhile major today as the world becomes increasingly globalized and continues to experience economic, political, and cultural globalization.
