This clogs the pores and oil ducts of the skin which results in what we all hate: pimples, whiteheads and blackheads.

Dermatologists have recently developed new ways to treat acne. There's dermabrasion, which is a procedure that involves the removal of the upper layer of skin tissue. The ablative type of laser treatment heats larger skin areas and will require more healing time, additionally this type of laser treatment is used to treat acnes that are not deep. On the other hand, non-ablative, is the most commonly used treatment for acne and has less severe side effects. It is for acne that is not subdermal. One of the benefits of this particular laser treatment for acne is that no skin is removed. Here's how it works. The laser affects the area under the scar. Once these skin cells are removed, new and non-scarred skin will grow over the area.
