An Age Old Question

Why Are We Here?

Why Are We Here?

Never has there been a question so controversal.  A question that associates itself with so many different belief systems.  A question that has been, unfortunately, put on the backburners.

I'd like to purpose a lifestyle change.  Many people in the world today follow a religion, not by their own beliefs, but by the beliefs of generations before them.  A wide part of many generations will follow blindly into these belief systems, with no real merit of their own.  These people were born into their beliefs, and may never search outside of what is set in front of them for more truer answers.  I challenge you today to question your beliefs.

No harm can come from this task, only postive outcomes.  Doing so will either lead you back to your original beliefs, or take you on a journey of curiosity.  You will either reinforce your  original beliefs and come out stronger and more focused on how to conduct your life, Or you will find something new to believe.  A new idea that you may not have known existed.  An idea that may resonate with you so deeply that you have no choice but to not only believe it, but to live by it.

Truth in Wisdom

And so the question remains.  Why Are We Here?  What should we be doing with our time here?  Where did we come from?  What is in store for our future?  How can I live a life that resonates with what I believe my purpose to be?  The answer is out there.  Do not be fooled by other souls trying to guide you in your quest for truth.  The only soul that should be guiding you, is your own.  Do not let predetermined mental models cloud your vision.  Open your mind to all ideas.  Leave no stone unturned.  Only when you do this can you see the world clearly.  Look for what feels right.  You will know when you find it.  Be aware of all the signs around you, as they are there to guide you.  A word that catches your eye,  a number set that you see on a clock or a license plate, a person that you may not know but may come in contact with multiple times.  See these signs and use them.  Do not play the fool when you see the signs in front of your face.  Follow your heart and when you get that "feeling", pursue it.

"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy or unfufilled.  For it is in only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different or truer answers."
