Are You Looking For A Beach Wedding?

By | Dec 15, 2009 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

When I was a young girl, I adored the beach. I cherished sitting and relaxing on the beach in a position to just be able look at the ocean. I found looking at the ocean very interesting and fun filled. I discovered it to be unbelievably peaceful and wonderful. At all times I imagine myself getting married on the beach. Since the time I was 10 years old I've made a resolution that somewhere, somehow, I would be having a beach wedding. I moved on with this thought in me all the way through my growing up years. When my boyfriend placed a ring on my finger, I had already decided long time back that I will observe and fulfill my desire and wish of having a beach wedding.

My husband to be wasn't actually excited or pleased with the concept of a beach wedding. The nearest beach from our home was about three hours away. While I discovered that having a beach wedding simply mean I was limiting the number of visitors who would have graced the occasion, but I was still strong-minded on having it. After several discussions for many months on picking a date, he was yet to be happy about my decision. On the other hand when he discovered that it would make me happy, he agreed. My beach wedding wish would at the end be fulfilled, I was making merry.

I discovered a beautiful inn that was situated directly on the beach. If I wanted me to have my wedding there, it was expected of me to book all of the visitors' rooms for the weekend. As you know, that wasn't very cheap but we were in love with the small inn, therefore we contracted it. I delegated a wedding manager and planner who was more than happy to take control of my beach weddings arrangements. As I found her, she started going over many facts for which I had at no time to think especially when it came to exchanging my vows on the sand. She advised that I should really be getting married in the morning, why? Because of the location of the sun! I didn't notice this. No one liked photos being snapped with everyone glancing and the sun being in our eyes the whole time.

Otherwise, she said since I had selected summer to get married, another alternative was to have the ceremony during late evening to really enjoy ourselves. In the late evening, the sun wouldn't be much of an issue. While I discovered that there is usually a gentle wind at the beach at all times, I had no idea about how it would influence a beach wedding. No thought concerning my hair panting or my dress not settling in one place. I hadn't had the thought about the sand blowing around either. As a result of all these things had be brought to my notice, I had to regulate my thoughts concerning the purchase of a dress and how I would wear my hair. I purchased a dress that was a bit more fitting and didn't have a long train. I decided not to wear a veil and wore my hair in an elegant bun. I decided not to beautify the chairs with flowers and ribbons, but the inner side reception should be beautified in this place. Remember all this, if you're organizing a beach wedding and make sure you organize accordingly. You may have to re-format, few of your arrangement or program in order for things to be kept in a simple, easy and perfect mode as possible. Believe me, it measure up to it, though!
