Are You Marketing With Facebook Pages Yet?

By | Dec 12, 2011 | 2 Comments | Rating: 1

Facebook Pages are becoming a more popular means of businesses for marketing.  Both online businesses and businesses with a physical location are creating Facebook Pages because they can see the potential for reaching new customers and for developing relationships with existing customers.  Unfortunately, they don’t know what to do with them once they have created them so many Facebook Pages for businesses are left untended to and are inactive.  These Facebook Pages are not providing the owners with much benefit, if any at all.

Businesses that are active, that are interacting with the members of the page (also called the fans), and are making an effort to provide valuable information are seeing that these pages can get great results.  While the sales results are hard to measure in dollar amounts, businesses are seeing the result in their relationships.

When people have good relationships with businesses, they tend to have more trust in the, which means they are more likely to buy from them.  When people develop trust in businesses they usually also develop loyalty, which makes it more likely that they will talk about the business and its service or products with their friends.

The Social Media Search Engine

Another reason that businesses should be using Facebook Pages is because people are using social media as a search engine more often.  This trend is especially noticed in the younger generations.  When they want to know what is going on with a business, what sales are occurring, and what kind of promotions they can get, they will often find them on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.  In order to take advantage of the way that the younger generation are using social media as a search engine, your business needs to be visible and active.

How to Use Facebook Pages in Your Marketing

I could write 10 pages about how to use Facebook Pages in marketing.  Or, I could simply tell you about the ebook that gives you everything you need in one simple PDF.  This ebook tells you everything you need to know.

FansBridge.com has an email newsletter that comes with a great book called The Facebook Marketing Secrets Guide.  The ebook was written by the blog owner, Faissal Alhaithami who has a passion for all things Facebook.  His blog is filled with useful information but since you likely want to get started right away, he’s put all the most useful info in one place - the ebook.

The ebook covers how to set up a page from the very beginning and how to adjust the page settings.  This is good even if you already have a Facebook Page because those page settings are often skipped over.  You might have seen those Facebook Pages that have a fancy welcome that people come to when they get to the page for the first time and this ebook will show you how to set one up for your own page.  These welcome pages often result in more “likes” for your page.

One thing that Facebook Page owners often forget is that pages should be focuses on conversation and interaction.  The Facebook Marketing Secrets Guide will teach you how to be a great conversationalist online and how to develop a community that is active.  And if your goal is to make more money (and let’s face it - that is what marketing is about usually!) you’ll learn how to do that, too.

If you have a Facebook Page that is growing stale or you are new to Facebook Pages this ebook will help you turn it into an active community of customers and future customers.  It’s a great book for Facebook Page newbies, but even those who have been at it for awhile will find that they will learn a thing or two.  I did!

I have just recently deactivated my facebook account. I got so fed up with hundreds of emails coming in every couple of days even after I went in and blocked as much as I could.
I then changed my email so it just went to one I did not use and went in once a week to delete everything. They still came in so that was my last option.
Hope it works ok for you.

The ebook sounds very interesting. I know, I am not using my Facebook account to its full potential. Thanks for sharing.
