Are you psychic? Whether we are aware of it or not, most of us have some sort of psychic ability. Usually, we just shrug it off as coincidence. At the little corner of our heads, however, we wonder--what if and just what were the odds of that happening? Well, guess what--it was a million to one. People who have had numerous experiences with psychic phenomena though feel the urge to explore and understand more about their psychic abilities.

Can you see the future? If you'e like most people, you probably don't have access to "tomorrow" all the time, but you've probably had an experience of a sudden knowing. Or are you one of those who are very in tune with other people's thoughts and feelings that you almost feel that you can read their minds? If you're interested to find out just how psychic you are, you will find lots of tests online to gauge your abilities.

One popular type of psychic ability test is the one developed by Carl Zener. It evaluates your accuracy in predicting which objects will show up in a card sequence. If you can guess what shows up in the next card often enough, then you have an increased potential and likelihood of psychic ability.

Other types of tests are done via questionnaires and survey. Here, you say YES to events that you've experienced before, which are similar to what other psychic people experience. Have you experienced a dream so vivid and real--only later to find out that it was a foreshadowing of things to come? Have you had a feeling so strong about a person that you became physically revolted--only to find out later that he was about to commit a crime? These are examples of questions that can be found on a psychic test. Journaling is also a method of gauging your ability to check for common patterns in the psychic phenomena that you experience. You will have to keep writing for a certain period of time though before you can start analyzing the pages for common threads of experience.

There are so much psychic tests available online that will determine your psychic potential. From this, you are given pointers and tips on how to develop your psychic skills. Psychic tests shouldn't be taken just once, in fact. Take it lots of times to find out your average as your score changes every time you take it.

How about ESP? You can test that by guessing what shape or name that another person wrote when he is at the opposite side of the world. Of course, another room or the coffee shop round the corner is also fine. Interestingly enough, people are often able to do this only when their mind absolutely clear and they are fully concentrated.

Keep in mind, however, that psychic tests should not be seen as foolproof objective tests of the possession of psychic powers. From here, however, you can make a decision if you would want to go after some training that will develop and harness your abilities. So keep taking those tests and make sure that they are different kinds and check if there is some consistency in your results. Aside from this, you can also check out various books, seminars, and websites that offer training on developing your psychic powers.
