Astral Projection Binaural Beats
Astral projection is a type of self-induced out of body experience in which the consciousness leaves the physical body and enters what is known as the astral plane. The astral plane is a rather esoteric concept, and different sources will give their own interpretation of what it is. However, the general consensus is that the astral dimension is a non-physical environment that intersects with the known physical world and in which various immaterial phenomena and beings reside.
There exist numerous different accounts of what may occur when out of body. Many report hearing buzzing or humming sounds during the moment of transition. Others report silence and a sensation of physical paralysis. Some say that their experience of the out of body state is primarily visual. Others will see nothing yet have vivid experiences of interacting with other beings.
Mastering the art of conscious astral projection can take many years of practice. Traditionally, those most adept at entering the astral achieved it through deep states of meditation or trance. Meditation is tough and requires much patience and persistence. This is why many people make brief and unsuccessful attempts to enter the astral realm.
Fortunately, the learning curve to induce out of body experiences has been significantly reduced thanks to recent advances in brain science. We now know that the brain operates at certain frequencies during various activities and moments of the day. In other words, different frequencies are associated with specific states of consciousness. For example, during deep sleep you have slower brainwave frequencies than when you are awake.
When any out of body experience occurs, it is theta frequencies (4-8 Hz) that are naturally produced by the brain. Thus, bringing the brain to the point of generating these theta frequencies would help us to project our consciousness outside of our physical body. It is a matter of consciously slowing down our usually more active brainwaves (12-38 Hz) to the much slower and more relaxed theta brainwaves.
This is where brainwave entrainment comes into play. Brainwave entrainment is the process of inducing specific brainwaves through audio and/or visual stimuli. One of the most well known and most successful entrainment technologies is that of binaural beats.
Binaural beats consist of two different sound waves that are each played into one of the listener's ears (using headphones). The sounds in your left ear will have a slightly different frequency than the sounds in your right ear. The difference in frequencies forces the brain to create a third frequency matching the disparity in the sounds. A binaural beat recording designed for astral projection will engineer a brainwave frequency in the theta range (4-8 Hz).
The theta brainwaves that binaural beats produce put the listener into an altered state of consciousness similar to deep meditation. This gives you a good shot at projection your consciousness out of the physical body and begin your own exploration of the world beyond the physical realm. Astral projection for beginners will be greatly facilitated with this tool.
Astral projection binaural beats won't do all of the work for you. Variables other than theta brainwaves are necessary for a stable astral experience. However, they are one of the best chances you have of experiencing the astral plane without having to go through months or years of extensive meditation practice.
