If you are looking for an at home teeth whitening product, then read this article. It will discuss some of the most popular ways that you can help reduce those embarrassing yellow stains on your teeth without having to spend a ton of money on procedures like laser teeth whitening. Having a bright smile is one of those attributes that can really make a person look a lot more attractive. Many people will go through life hiding their smile just because their teeth may be too yellow for them to confidently show them off. If this is you and you have been looking for a way to get those teeth to become whiter, then the follow home teeth whitening methods my work for you. These products are just products that you can use at home. It doesn't mean they are remedies that can be done with regular products around the house.

The first of these methods involves simply using whitening tooth paste. Although the effects of these types of tooth paste are limited in getting your teeth whiter, they are inexpensive since they cost the same as any other tooth paste. They do have sort of a weird taste to them but if you're just looking to improve the color of your teeth by a couple of shades, then using this type of paste might work.

Another method of at home teeth whitening is by using teeth whitening trays. These can work by using thin plastic trays that fit onto your upper and lower teeth. These trays will contain hydrogen peroxide gel that you put into them using a syringe. They are normally sold as a kit with the trays, syringe, and gel all included in a neat little package. You will want to wear the trays for about 30 minutes to an hour at a time or as directed. The results you get will depend on the condition of your teeth but typically, you will start noticing results after using it for a week or two.

Another method is to use those teeth whitening strips. These can be found online or even at the grocery store. They work similar to the trays in that it uses hydrogen peroxide to bleach your teeth. The difference is that instead of using a tray, you will be wrapping your teeth with these thin strips. Most of it will go onto the front of your teeth while a bit of it will wrap to the back of your teeth. You will be leaving them on for about 20 to 30 minutes. These can be quite effective. There is one thing you should know though. Depending on your teeth and gum, the gel that is used for this product and the tray can make your teeth and gum feel a bit sensitive. For some people, it is no more than a minor uncomfortable feeling while for others, it can hurt enough for them to not want to use the strip or tray. Just know that if you feel any sensitivity, it is normal.

The results you get from any of these types of at home teeth whitening methods will vary. For the most part though, if you use them long enough, you will see some results. If your teeth are really yellow, you will most likely notice some dramatic results. For people who already have relatively white teeth, the difference may not be all that noticeable. What you can do just to see how much whither your teeth gets if you're using the tray or the strips, is to just use it on either the top or bottom teeth. That way, you will be able to see the difference the gels make. The price of these at home teeth whitening products will vary between $5 to $50.
