Bali Luxury Accommodation

Bali lies east of Java, it is more or less 8 degrees south of the equator. The Bali strait seperates the two islands and there are regular crossings by ferry between Java and Bali. The island is something like 153 km wide starting West to the East and is approximately 112 km from the South to the North. It has a terrain mass area of 5,632 km².

The tallest portion of Bali is Mount Agung which is an active volcano which last erupted in 1963 it is 3,142 m high. This stands far above the ground higher than the clouds and can be viewed from various areas of the island.

Bali is surrounded by coral reefs which are both striking and unsafe. The seashores of Bali mainly in the south of the Island are more likely to have white sand which is a stark difference to the north and west which have black sand.

There are no major water ways in Bali and access to everywhere is by road that is not always the easiest to stick to. Many of them are in a terrible state. Though there are a number of rivers that are well-liked with the holiday-makers for white water rafting a quantity of them run through inaccesible valleys of sheer rock some of which have been hand carved and are a spectacle to behold.

Bali is developing as a big vacation getaway and tourists flock to the island for the weather, culture and nightlife that there is on offer.

Denpasar is the Capital of Bali and has approximately 200,000 residents followed by Singaraja located towards the North of the island.

Kuta is the foremost area for tourism and is situated near to the beach. Kuta has a lot of luxury villas to rent and is the most popular with the holiday crowd. It can be exceptionally treacherous swimming off the Kuta beach as there tend to be exceedingly very strong rip-tides which can very easily transport you out to sea. Great care should be taken when swimming in this area and always swim between the flags which let you identify where or if it is safe to swim.

The south of Bali has a growing number of resorts like the Bukit and Uluwatu that have some lovely cliffside villas sale as well as for rent. There are loads of great places for the surf in Bali and it is common place to rent a beach front private villa with direct access to the beach and surf.

There are a number of beach front resorts in Bali, some of which you can find in Sanur which is the East of Denpasar. There are also a lot of foreigners living in the Sanur region and there are a lot of long term rental luxury villas available.

Seminyak Villa
There are a lot of fine dining resturants in Bali. Many that can be discovered in Seminyak, Sanur, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua as well as a lot of the top boutique hotels.

There is so much to in Bali and accommodation rental is usually straightforward to locate. Everything from biking in the hills and mountains to scuba diving roughly the coast where there is a wealth of sea life to see and coral to explore. Water sports are also a key attraction and are much more affordable to do than in other tourist places roughly the world, such as rafting, kayaking, or sea walking.

Whilst in Bali a visit to the monkey forest is a must. The monkeys are free to roam where they like and feeding them is all part of the experience. Other excursions include the bat temple, the fire dances and a great magic show.

Spas are a big part of Bali and people flock from all over the world for the latest spa treatments including a wide range of massages and treatments for numerous ailments or just to relax and feel good. Yoga is another big part of Bali and there are a lots of yoga community in Ubud, places with beautiful view for yoga and meditation, plus yoga instructurs if you need.
