Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is a cosmopolitan-themed resort. The resort offers popular table games and slots spread out over a 67,000-square-foot gaming space. It also offers luxurious rooms and shows. Bally's has been featured in at least three movies, one TV show and one video game. The resort holds a great deal of history, which adds to the character of this hotel-casino.

Bally's is situated in the space that was once the historic Bonanza hotel and casino. The Bonanza stood from 1963-1973. It was then sold to Kirk Kerkorian who transformed the resort into the MGM Grand. Coming with a hefty price tag of $106 million and spreading across 47 acres, it was the largest hotel in the world at the time. In 1985 Kerkorian's megaresort was sold to Bally Entertainment Corporation for $594 million. In 1995 Bally Entertainment Corp. was purchased by Hilton Hotels, who completed a full renovation of the resort in 2004. In 2005 It was obtained by Harrah's, a company that owns several other hotel-casinos.

The hotel has 2,814 rooms. In 2004, 75 percent of these rooms were fully renovated. The rooms and lobby portray an elegant style that has become synonymous with Las Vegas's megaresorts. The hotel provides three different classes of rooms. The most modestly priced rooms are their classic guest rooms. Deluxe guest rooms are slightly more expensive. And for those who are willing to pay a little bit more for luxury, they offer grand suites. Reservations can be made online, over the phone or in person.

The headline show at Bally's is "Jubilee." The show features a critically acclaimed performance of dancers; "Jubilee" has been voted by readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal as having the best showgirls in town. Bally's also offers a stage show based on "The Price Is Right." All attendees are contestants and get to play the show's hit classic game through a touch pad. Reservations and ticket information can be obtained by calling 702-967-4567.
