Bamboo Keyboards and Mice are the Newest Trend in the USA

Some consumers are drawn to products that exhibit a great deal of personality. In China, this is certainly without exception. For the last two years, a new and popular idea has raged all over the exotic country and has now spilled across the Pacific Ocean and into the homes and offices of America. It's a simple idea that has soared in popularity all over the world and is eye-catching to anyone who has never seen or heard of computer hardware made from .... wood!

Bamboo is now being used to produce keyboards, mice and even LCD panels. Environmentalists applaud this daring move and consumers are attracted to its trendiness and looks.

Jiangxi Bamboo Technology Development Co. Ltd. launched its production of these fashionable gadgets in 2008 and by 2009 exclusively exported them to Europe and North America. After it opened several franchise stores throughout China in 2009, local demand began to skyrocket. From a business perspective, this was an incredibly intelligent move. From a consumer's viewpoint, bamboo products in general add a bit of flavor to a plastic world.

Virtually anything that is made from bamboo is very cheap to produce and reduces the amount of harmful waste that goes into landfills around the world. Additionally, bamboo is not only highly renewable; it is extremely durable as well. Simple ideas such as this one are symbolic of the "outside the box" way of thinking and it is this message that gives these wooden devices their appeal. This hardware isn't just for Eco-conscious consumers. Those who have them, by association, are also "outside the box" thinkers.

Measuring 460×161x22 mm and 108×55x35mm, the keyboard and mouse are "plug and play" capable, requiring no software and are compatible with all Windows operating systems beginning with Windows 98. They are encased in 100% bamboo and costs are very reasonable. The keyboard is priced at $39 and the mouse is retails for $19. If you're interested in having both (which would only seem prudent), you can get the package deal for $52 and save $6.

Be on the lookout for these savvy items as they work their way to a local retailer near you!
