Barcelona Ramblas Hostel

Hostels are good and inexpensive way to stay in Barcelona, Spain. In cities like Barcelona, hostels are a lot cheaper than hotels or apartments and bed and breakfasts are included.

One of the hostels you can visit during your trip to this Spanish city is Barcelona Ramblas Hostel.

Barcelona Ramblas Hostel

This hostel is located in the city center of Barcelona on the Carrer Nou de la Rambla, a side street of Las Ramblas. Las Ramblas is one of the main streets in this city and just a few minutes walking away. Also the famous Plaça de Catalunya and La Boqueria food market are within walking distance. Barcelona Ramblas Hostel is close to two metro stations, Liceu and Paral-lel which you can reach via metro line L3.

Barcelona Ramblas Hostel has individual, double and triple rooms. Some of these rooms have bathrooms ensuite, other rooms have shared bathrooms. All of the rooms have TV and some of the rooms have small balconies. The hostel also offers free wireless internet access, although the signal is in some parts of the building quite weak.

Free breakfast is included. The breakfast is in the basement of the building, from 08:00 hrs until 10:00 hrs. After breakfast the basement is changed into a small internet café.

The hostel staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English.

Close to Barcelona Ramblas Hostel

Palau Güell (1 minute walking)

The Palau Güell is a town mansion designed by the world famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi and located in the same street as Barcelona Ramblas Hostel and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site 'Works of Antoni Gaudi'.

La Rambla (2 minutes walking)

La Rambla is one of the main streets in Barcelona and very popular with locals and tourists. This long street connects Plaça de Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus monument in Port Vell. On La Rambla you can find many stalls, where they sell various goods, from plants and souvenirs to drinks, food and animals. You will also find many living statues in this street, from a FC Barcelona-warrior to the funny Tutti-Frutti-man.

Plaça Real (4 minutes walking)

Plaça Real is a famous square in the Barri Gotic of Barcelona and a well-known tourist attraction. Many tourists go to this square at night to go to one of the restaurants or clubs.

Other

Other attractions close to the hostel are Teatro del Liceu and Port Vell. At the nearby Paral-lel metro station you can also take the funicular railway to the hill of Montjuïc. At the Montjuïc station you can take the Telefèric Montjuïc, which connects the lower station of the funicular railway with the top of the mountain Montjuic. In the Telefèric Montjuïc you have a wonderful view over the city.

If you want to visit the beautiful city of Barcelona on a budget, then Barcelona Ramblas Hostel is definitely a good budget option, offering nice and clean rooms at an affordable price right in the middle of Barcelona City Center.
