1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients except for the flour. Mix the blend of ingredients together with an electric mixer until the mixture is nice and fluffy.

Next, reduce the speed on your mixer to low and slowly add the flour into our mixture mixing until the dough is well blended.

Pre Heat your oven to 350 F

Either use a tablespoon to create little flattened balls or use a rolling pin to roll out the dough before using cookie cutters to cut out Christmas shapes.

Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet and back for 12-15 minutes.
