If you like to get out in the cooler weather, but don't like to dress in layers as it just feels bulky to you, such as when you want to get in a game of golf on those cooler days, then consider a battery heated jacket to keep you warm.

You can get these heated jackets in many styles, and it all depends on what you wish to use it for. If you are skiing then there are battery heated jackets built with the ski jacket shell and longer and thicker, but if you just want to have lots of movement on those cooler days, such as when you are golfing, running or walking, then this fleece heated jacket maybe something you want to consider. It is made of soft fleece.

These do not carry the big battery packs, and they do not feel stiff or bulky. These fleece style heated jackets have 3 main heat areas, that you can control with a lithium powered little pack that does not get in the way. You can control the heat settings, and override any setting that it has. You can shut it off if you begin to feel warm.

The three main areas of carbon fiber (this keeps the heat) are one area in the back, and two areas in the front for heating. You have control of each area with this battery heated jacket in the fleece weight style.

These come in sizes for men and women, and are a great addition to your cooler weather wardrobe. It will keep you outdoors longer. Take a longer walk, or a hike or a run, or that game of golf. These battery heated jackets are no longer just for the athletes who need to be out there training in the cold weather, and these are affordable.

Plus these heated jackets, are a great way to avoid having layer upon layer of clothing that needs to be peeled off as you warm up, if you warm up at all. Many people, avoid going out too much in the winter months simply because they can't stay warm, and don't wish to jog around the block to get warm or dress to the point they can't move.

You can get replacements for the batteries easily. If you like the idea of the fleece jacket, then this is a great one to try. Great for fall and spring, plus this is lightweight enough to wear around the house if you are trying to keep your heat down to save on heating costs. No different then putting on a sweater, but you have that added advantage of feeling warm right away.

These battery heated jackets would make great gifts for active seniors, or anyone that tends to feel chilled easily. Plus with the fleece weight, they will not weigh anyone down like a larger winter jacket for sports would.

When you first turn on the heat, it starts out high, to instantly warm up the heated jacket and then it turns down. You can adjust this anytime you want. If you can keep your core warm, then you will feel better about getting out for some exercise, or extending your walks.

Having a battery heated jacket is just one more way we keep out that chilling cold that keeps many of us inside in the cooler months.
