Becoming a More Positive You

By Edited Feb 17, 2014 2 4

What do you see when you look into the mirror? Do you see the beauty that you are? Or do you only see your flaws?

We all have flaws...but it is how you deal with those flaws that is the difference between being a negative person or a Positive You!

If you are a kitten and you see a lion looking back at you in the mirror, then you have a lot of positive energy...

But, if you are a lion and you see a kitten in the mirror...then you need a little more positivity in your life and that is what I hope you will get from this article.

The first thing you will want to do is find a way to leave a positive mark on the people around you. Think about the things you are good at...Are you good at math, then why not donate your time to help young people learn about budgets...

Think about something you love to do or would love to learn and find a way to improve on that skill and then share it with others.

When your skills are improved, you will find your successes will grow. Just remember not to let those successes go to your head. Remain humble, treat others with respect and share your gifts...

Every time you see a mirror, look at yourself and smile the biggest smile you can and then move on...you might find yourself smiling for quite awhile afterward. Make an effort to smile at 15 people on Monday, 20 people on Tuesday, 25 people on Wednesday and so on...If you start to say something negative, stop, take a deep breath and smile...you might just find a positive moment has wiped out your negative thoughts...and who can be negative while smiling?

The biggest thing you have to remember is that there is negativity all around you...but there is also a lot of positive things...look for the positive and look beyond the negative.

I think this is a great suggestion for a person to think about. You create your own reality, I feel, so thinking and doing positive, fulfilling things will only make oneself and others feel better. Most likely, you will get a feeling of accomplishment knowing you made someone else happy as well as yourself. It will feel GREAT!!
