Bed Bugs Spray
There is a frightening trend in America at the moment. The growing number of cases of bed bugs has nearly tripled in the past ten years. Bedbugs are dirty little insects that suck the blood of humans while they are calmly sleeping. It was once thought that only dirty houses or people got bed bugs in their house. While it may be true that there is a greater risk of getting bed bugs if your house is a pit, it can also happen to the cleanest house.
Another common misconception is that bed bugs live in mattresses only. Well, this is not true. While bed bugs only come out for a couple hours a night to feed near dawn, they do not necessarily live in the bed as well. It is true that they are attracted to holes and damp, warm areas. They will also live in the cracks of a floor or even inside the outlets in a house. An exterminator may tell you the only way to kill bed bugs is to have a professional flea bomb the house. This is not the only way to get the job done. Bedbugs can be killed by heat above 113 degrees Fahrenheit, by extreme cold below 32 degrees for a couple of weeks and by poison often called bed bugs spray. There are a few tips that can help in getting rid of bed bugs that I would like to share with you.
You must first prepare yourself. Depending on the size of your house and the amount of belongings you have, it may take a few long days of work. Everything must be cleaned in one shape or form. Bed bugs are about a quarter of an inch length, so do not be surprised if you see a few when cleaning. All of your clothes must be washed and then bagged as to not reinfect them.
Many people will actually store their clothes in a chest freezer for a couple of weeks to ensure the bed bugs are dead. The bed bugs spray should be used over the entire house, not even a single area can be missed. Even the molding should be pulled back and treated. Remember, areas like outlets where bed bugs like to hide should be cleaned with the killer. One tip is to dilute the spray with water and mop the floors that you can with it. For couches and rugs a steam cleaner should be used that blows steam above the one-hundred fourteen degree mark. Use a bed bugs mattress cover to protect bedding. If all else fails and you need to hire a professional bed bug exterminator, be sure to shop around as prices to get rid of bed bugs will vary.
