Eggs are natural nutrients and eating them raw provides a lot of protein especially to those, who are keen on building their muscles. Eating raw eggs is considered as equaling to a health drink. It contains a lot of vitamin A, D and E, which is very vital to the body. It is a great booster of our immune system and those with poor immune system are advised by the health experts to make it a compulsory diet. One more important factor about eating raw egg is that it contains Lecithin, which is an important factor in taking care of the fat and cholesterol level in the body.

It is really good to take the yolk raw as it contains a lot of protein. It helps a lot in removing the stored toxins in the body. Eating raw gives no room for egg allergy. Raw egg contain nutrients for the brain, nerves, glands and hormones. They are rich with potassium, iron, zinc, manganese, iodine, copper and sulphur. Needless to say that eating raw eggs makes for a wholesome food to build and maintain the body. Compare to egg white, yolks are more nutritious; it houses essential fatty acids along with fat soluble vitamins like vitamin A, D and E.

There is a possibility for the eggs to be contaminated with salmonella, which causes diarrhea and vomiting, stomach cramps and fever. Children, pregnant women and elderly people are easily vulnerable to these symptoms and fall sick. People prefer to cook eggs to avoid the intrusion of the bacteria salmonella. The storage of egg should be hygienic and the organic free range poultry eggs should be used to avoid food borne diseases through raw consumption of eggs.

Handling of eggs is very important in deciding the healthy factor regarding the raw eggs. It is not proper to eat raw egg with cracks and foul smell. Proper refrigeration of the eggs at a very cool temperature makes for a good and healthy consumption. It is mandatory to wash egg before eating or cooking. All these details go in for making eggs a healthy diet whether it is raw or cooked.
