Benefits of Sweat Pads

By | Jan 12, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

If you suffer from hyperhidrosis or over sweating, you may be frantically looking for just about anything that can reduce excessive sweat. There are so many available products for over sweating. Products include creams, lotions, and sweat pads.

Anti sweat creams and lotions tend to block sweat glands from releasing sweat through your pores. This is very unnatural and may cause your body to overheat. Sweat pads are a safer option in combating excessive sweat, because they absorb your body's need to sweat. Sweat pads work like a sponge that absorbs sweat. After a couple of hours (depending on how much you sweat) you may need to change pads. Otherwise, sweat pads can become saturated and heavier due to absorbed body sweat.

The problem with armpit sweat pads is that they tend to smell bad after you remove them from your shirt. They are often used under your shirt so, there is no air movement to whisk away the smell. If you decide to use armpit sweat pads, it's advisable to change them out with a fresh pair throughout the day.

Most sweat control products available are a quick fix and not a permanent solution. You may want to go see a doctor. If you suffer from excessive sweating, then it's possible that your sweating stems from some other medical condition. If you decide to use a quick fix anti sweating product, then you may be ignoring signs that your body is not functioning correctly.

A doctor's help is strongly needed to diagnose your sweating problems. Reasons for over sweating often include heart ailments, ulcers, diabetes, menopause and other diseases. Over sweating may just be manifesting because of a severe illness you are not aware of. For the meantime, practice bathing at least 2 times per day and use a good deodorant together with sweat pads. Once you get the time, go visit a doctor right away.
