Benefits of Drinking Beet Juice

Beets are commonly grown all over United States as one of the sources of sugar. It comes from the family of spinach and chard. The leaves of beet plants tastes bitter but rich in chlorophyll and have high nutritional content compared to its roots.

There are many known health benefits of the plant but few people have taken advantage of it especially its juice. Its health benefits could be due to the various vitamins that it contains. The plant is full of Vitamin B complex such as Vit. B1,B2, and B6. Moreover, you can also find Vitamin C and high levels of iron. Beets are also good sources of calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, sodium and iron.The roots of beets is also a good source or high quality iron that is much-needed for blood formation.

Drinking beet juice has many health benefits but many people are not aware of this. The juice helps purify the blood as well as create new red blood cells. Aside from this, it  helps improve the blood structure and heals diseases of the circulatory system.

There are also health benefits of drinking juice for the urinary system for it helps dissolves stones in the liver, kidneys and bladder. According to researchers, drinking a glass of beet juice every day help prevents hypertension. Aside from this, beets also aid the body to increase its production of glutathione which is responsible in detoxifying the body and getting rid of cancer causing agents.

To get the most benefit out of beet juice, it should be taken once or twice a day. To make it more tasty, just mix fresh beet juice with carrot juice or apple juice. If you plant to take it for cleansing purposes, you can get the most benefit out of it by adding a cup to two quart cooled coffee enema. Coffee enemas are usually done for liver cleansing. By adding fresh beet juice, you will increase its effectiveness. The effect of doing creates a more profound effect especially if you add a fresh garlic or two as well.

The beet juice is delicious but it is potent too and may cause some side effects like dizziness during the cleansing process and cause some discomfort but there is nothing to worry about. Just drink plenty of water to help flush out toxic materials.
