Natural Remedies for Acne
Troubles with acne, or pimples, can be pretty frustrating because it effects more than just your complexion. It also unfortunately effects your self-esteem. Some acne can be very persistent and although you may have spent time and money trying all kinds of creams or remedies they keep coming back to haunt you. Not all methods are effective for everybody and some even can harm you so please be careful!
Here are some tried-and-true (and simple) things that should help. Like I said, no remedy works for everyone but the ones I list below are very safe so if one doesn't help I encourage to try another or even do them in combination.
#2. Eat lots of carrots and quark-cheese.
#3. Drink plenty of chamomile tea because it helps with cleansing both from the inside and out.
#4. Beet root juice can be helpful. Drink 1/8 liter it every day. It's rich in iron but does not contain fat like other iron-rich foods (meat for example).
#5. Pimples appear due to secretion of sebaceous glands. If you clean the effected area with hydrogen chloride you can stop them in their tracks.
Effective Face Cleaning Methods
Hydrogen chloride is effective for most people but if it doesn't work for you, here are some other ways to thoroughly clean your skin.
- Mix sour cream with lemon juice. Put it on your face and leave it to dry. Repeat the application 2 more times. By the end of the third application you should be seeing more radiant skin.
- Mix a small amount of milk of sulfur and Vaseline. Use that crème on pimples every night after you have thoroughly cleaned your skin.
- Wash your face and other affected regions of your body with sulfur soap then put a drop of iodine on each pimple every evening before sleep.
If you haven't had any success with all the commercial face creams and cleansers on the market I encourage you to try some of these natural alternatives.
