Best Blender Recommendation for Making Smoothies and Beyond

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Why You Need A Blender

Making fresh juices and smoothies at home has become very popular, and it's a much healthier alternative to store-bought juice and drinks. Store bought juices have preservatives and additives, while juice that you make at home is freshly made and provides you with huge amount of nutrients that your body needs to be healthy.

By making juices and smoothies yourself (instead of buying them in a store, or worse yet - not drinking them at all), you can stay healthy, prevent disease, and even lose weight.

A good quality blender is all you need to make the best tasting juice and smoothies at home.

Vitamix Blender: My Favorite Blender for Smoothies

A Vitamix blender is a great choice to use at home. This blender is easy to use with many features. The manufacturer of Vitamix has made all kinds of blender equipment for many years and their blenders are very reliable. They are made to last for many years.

Although these blenders are quite expensive, they are well worth spending the extra money.  If you want to get it a little cheaper, Vitamix has reconditioned blenders with a good warranty. They are tested through many inspections for quality so you are getting the best blender.

A Vitamix blender is able to blend all fruits, vegetables, and even toughest greens into smoothies, desserts, and soups from one machine. It can make ice creams, nut butters, and even flour (there is a special dry blade and container for this purpose). The blender comes with a cookbook with delicious recipes that are easy to prepare. You can learn how to create different dishes easily. This blender is made to have outstanding performance and is very durable.

You can use the blender to chop, blend, cream, cook and do other tasks. It will save space in the kitchen. The machine has self-cleaning so it is easy to maintain.

The blender is tall, deep, and wide allowing large amounts of fruits and vegetables to be blended. The machine has durable blades and other parts to effectively blend whole foods so that you do not have to cut them as much.

The features of the blender are superb and stand out. It is an attractive blender for the kitchen. It is a great blender for the countertop and provides healthy meals.

Vitamix Versus Blendtec Blender

The Blendtec blender is another great pick for making smoothies, and is also highly recommended. I know many people who use it and swear by it, and it has similar features and benefits as Vitamix.

I'm recommending Vitamix, because I have used it for almost three years now at least 2-3 per day, every day. For me, the most useful feature is that it comes with a plunger (while Blendtec does not), which makes blending without any liquids easier and faster.

The bottom line is that you cannot go wrong with any of these blenders. Both are a worthy investment in your health, and a great value for the money.

Vitamix Vs HealthMaster Blender

HealthMaster blender promoted by Montel Williams is a good option if you are searching for  affordable blender with many useful features, so that you can replace several other appliances in your kitchen. However, based on user reviews that I've found online, it's not as durable and reliable as Vitamix or Blendtec.  So, even though  you may be saving money in the short term, in the long run - if you need to replace the blender in a few years - the savings may not be as big (if at all).
