The biggest problem that I have found with using foundation to cover wrinkles is that it often cakes into the lines and makes the wrinkles even more noticeable. One solution is to use a topical wrinkle filler and then cover that with the foundation, but I am usually running late in the morning and do not have time to put on both products. Instead, I have been looking for anti-aging foundations that actually work to diminish wrinkles while covering them up at the same time. Sadly, this has been somewhat of a challenge for me, but I did manage to find a couple of foundation products that work for me. If you are facing this same challenge, you might want to keep reading about my experiences.
CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector 230 review
While I have never been a big fan of CoverGirl products, I do regularly use Olay products. I actually looked for a singular Olay product first, but this was all that I could find. My skin is fairly sensitive, which is why I often use Olay products. I have actually been pretty impressed with this foundation. Primarily, I use it around my eyes and around my lips. And I use another foundation for the rest of my face. I have even noticed that it is effective against the allergy shiners that I get under my eyes in the spring. It works fine on my entire face, but I keep my beauty product costs down by only putting on wrinkles around my eyes and lips.
Physicians Formula CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Foundation review
Another great wrinkle covering foundation that I have used is the Physicians Formula CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Foundation. Honestly, it leaves my skin feeling softer than the CoverGirl Olay product, but it is difficult for me to find, which is too bad because it is also cheaper than the CoverGirl Olay product. When I use the Physicians Formula CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Foundation, I actually use it on my entire face both because it is cheaper and because it makes my skin feel so soft. And it might just be my mind playing tricks on me, but the wrinkles seem to disappear quicker with this foundation than the CoverGirl Olay one. If you have a problem with large pores, then I highly recommend this foundation. For me, I have large pores just on my nose area and when I use this foundation is seems to shrink the pores somewhat. I am not sure why, but I think of it as an added bonus. Use this in conjunction with one of the top 10 best under eye concealer for dark circles 2012.
