Apples must be one of the most popular fruits to eat, if not THE most popular. There are many varieties of apples to choose from, so you are sure to find one that fits your taste buds. Apples pack in a large assortment of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer. They have a simple sweet taste that is very delightful and are very cheap to buy. For these reasons, apples are the best and most common ingredients in juicer recipes.

Oranges have a sweet and tangy taste that everyone loves. They are most commonly known for their high content of vitamin C, which is very important for boosting your immune system and overall health. You can find a large supply of oranges at any supermarket, grocery store, or produce shop, and they usually sell for very little.

Grapefruits are another popular citrus fruit to juice. Unlike the orange, grapefruits usually have a very tart taste to them. They do contain a lot of vitamin C to boost the immune system, as do all citrus fruits. Grapefruits also are a good source of the antioxidant known as lycopene, which is what gives it the deep red/pink color. Finally, they can cause a reaction in the body that aids digestion and reduces appetite, making it a great addition in juicer recipes for weight loss.

Pineapples are tropical fruits with a tangy taste to them. They are excellent sources of the enzyme bromelain, which do wonders in reducing inflammation as a result of such things like physical injuries. Pineapples are also a great source of manganese, which promotes good bone metabolism. The reason pineapples are great for juicer recipes is because you can also juice the rind which you normally would not eat, which contain many nutrients.

Juices are a great way to get a daily dose of vitamins, and like you said with pineapple and being able to juice the rind, you can also juice melon with it's skin on which gives you additional nutrients and some fibre (and tastes great).

Great information, I didn't know I could use the rind of a pineapple in my juicer, can't wait to try that.
