New Dads Need to Be Included in Gift Giving
Before a new baby is born, most people are very solicitous to the mother-to-be. She is going through so many obvious physical and emotional changes, and needs to be cared for as it gets closer to the baby's birth. But even though mom deserves the extra care, that doesn't mean that the new dad should be neglected.
Dads are very important to the child's birth and should be included in all the pre-birth activities. One way to do this is to include dad in the baby shower, or just give him some gifts that will make him smile and feel more comfortable in his new role.
There are several really fun gag gifts for the expectant father that are very popular. Here are some of my personal favorites:
Daddy's Diaper Changing Apron
Everyone knows dads do not like to change diapers.
Changing diapers is no picnic. No one likes to change them, but for some unknown reason it has become a well-distributed fact that dads especially hate to change those stinky diapers.
This is the Daddy's Dootie Diaper Changing Apron which comes with everything necessary to change a baby's diaper. There is a disposable mask to protect your sensitive nose and mouth. Included is a pair of gloves to keep your hands clean as well as pockets for all the necessary accroutrements for baby changing.
But the best part of this gift are the extra pair of nipples on the apron so that your baby will be distracted while you change the diaper. What father-to-be doesn't need one of these?!
The Peepee Teepee

The Peepee Teepee is available in a large number of designs, is machine washable, and makes any diaper changing experience much drier, especially for boys. This gift is worth buying for the name alone, and the conversation at a baby shower or family gathering.
Diaper Changing Toolbox--Funny and Practical

This gift has some extras from biohazard containers, a mask, and some award ribbons for the new dad to wear on his lapel at work or around the house. Good for any baby related hazardous duty, this kit will be the hit of any baby party before or after baby is born.
These are only 3 of the gag gifts available for new dads on Amazon.
