Nobody likes getting mosquito bites – they are itchy, unpleasant and can even lead to an infection in some cases if not treated properly - so what are the best home remedies? These bites are little bumps that will appear on your skin after the bug has bitten you and punctured the skin, feeding on the blood. If you don’t treat it right, it can lead to much more swelling and soreness than expected. Another nasty part about these bites in the potential that the mosquito is carrying West Nile Virus.

Here, I will list my favorite, most effective home remedies to curing and relieving itchiness in mosquito bites. I hope they help you out!

Some of these treatments include the use of household items you might already have at home, and some need an inexpensive item you might have to go to the store for. Here I will list my favorites!

#1 *Witch Hazel  - This is an organic aloe vera formula that also contains vitamin E for healthy skin. There are so many uses for this lotion to list!
