If you want to serve a perfect Margarita, you must make sure that salt is applied perfectly all around the rim! I've struggled over the years to do this, trying to apply the salt manually by hand and spilling salt everywhere. However, I was introduced to the Margarita Salt Rimmer product recently which makes this process so much easier and cleaner. It's a tray that makes it super easy to apply salt, sugar or whatever spice you want to the brim of your glass. Whether you're a bartender or just a lover of Margaritas, Bloody Mary's or other drinks, I think this product is a must-have.

This is a great product above as it comes with a three compartment trey and they are each labeled clearly: "Salt, Sugar, Lime Juice." It folds so it is very easy to store and it's super easy to clean. This particular one fits up to six-inch wide glasses, so make sure this is the right size for you.

Another great one is by Margaritaville and it comes with a lime serving set. This is better than the other product listed if you just want one compartment. It also comes with a cutting board to cut the limes and a shot glass. It's dish-washer safe so it's very easy to clean. I like this one because I think the cutting board and the shot glass are nice additions! Check it out below.

So now that you've got the perfect product to rim your glass with delicious salt... did you know that there are specialty salts out there designed specifically for margaritas?

- For example, the tequila company Jose Cuervo offers premium salt.

What is a "Coronita?"

Have you ever heard of a Corona Margarita? This is a drink that's becoming very popular, especially with fans of both Corona's and Margaritas. The drink is unique as it has an upside down Corona bottle full with beer placed into the glass. It's very easy to make as well.
