Best Nail Polishes

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Girls have wanted to make their toes pretty since as early as 3000 B.C. (which is the earliest record we have of nail polish). Today, the tradition goes strong, and girls still want to have pretty toes. In today's world, however, there are way more options. In a world with literally hundreds of different nail polish brands, how is a person to choose? Here we will have to go with the wisdom of the crowds. If more people are buying certain brands over others, there must certainly be a reason, and that reason is that they are the best.

Each of the following are the top selling nail polish brands in the world. Each may have different distinctive qualities about them, but they are all high quality. Each one has good consistency, many colors to choose from, will dry quickly, and is resistant to chipping and smudging.

Of over hundreds of different brands, these are the top selling brands, and the ones most consistently reviewed as the best of the best.

1. OPI Nail Colour

OPI Nail Colour is still America's favorite. This nail polish dries quickly, lasts a long time, and is very resistant to chipping. It also has a lot of colors to choose from. The most popular collections include Sephora, Classics, and South Beach.

2. Essie Nail Polish

Coming in at second place is Essie Nail Polish. While OPI is generally flashier in terms of colors, Essie is a bit more conservative. However, this doesn't take away from the fact that they make a very solid nail polish that lasts a long time from the initial application.

3. Zoya Nail Polish

Zoya is a great nail polish like the other two, but there is one distinguishing feature: Zoya does not contain any DBP.

For those of you not familiar with DBP, it is a toxic chemical used to lengthen the amount of time nail polish lasts on your finger. Some people have claimed that DBP can be harmful to pregnant mothers or small children, but this has never been proven. In Europe it is currently illegal for a nail polish to contain DBP. Although no conclusive evidence has ever shown that DBP is actually potentially harmful, if you wish to remain on the safe side but not sacrifice the quality of your nail polish, Zoya is the way to go.

For more information on pretty toes, go with one of those brands and you can't go wrong. Other great brands include Avon, Sally Hansen, NARS, and NYC. For more information, please visit Pretty Toes Info.
