My country, the Philippines, is well known for its fine and exotic beaches. With more than 7,100 islands, it’s no wonder there are a lot of beautiful and wonderful beaches to visit. Most of these beaches are found in the Visayas and Mindanao region. Tourists usually flock to these places during the summer months in the Philippines which is from March to early June. So if you are looking for the best beaches in the Philippines or in the world, look no further.  The beaches of the Philippines are available for everyone. There are beaches perfect for weddings, parties, surfers, divers, and for family outings. The Philippines is definitely one of the best tourist destinations for beach lovers. The following are some of the best beaches that tourists woud love to visit.

Boracay

Boracay is known to be the most popular beach among local and foreign tourists. It’s primary attraction is its powdery white sand beach which can make you walk barefooted on it without the risk of getting your feet burned. Boracay Island has lots of beach activities like island hopping, night entertainment shows, bars,  golfing, and scuba diving. This makes it the most busiest and crowded beach among the best beaches in the Philippines. There are also lots of souvenir shops and restaurants along its mile long beach.

Dakak

Located in Northern Zamboanga, it is a beautiful private beach resort in the jungle. It has a great 750 meter beach and swimming pools. It is commonly known for its beautifully cove-shaped beach . It has a powdery white sand and pristine blue waters. It is also a diving mecca in Mindanao because of lots of coral reefs in the area. In the mainland, it has 15 hectares of wooded land, a natural habitat for native plants and animals. There are lots of beautiful places to explore in the Dakak dive spots. There are coral thickets and caves as well as assorted marine life.

El Nido

Located in Palawan, El Nido offers a peaceful and quiet beach life. There are lots of beautiful landscapes to view and a variety of tropical birds. Most of all, it has a nice marine sanctuary that will excite beach lovers and divers alike. It has good sand coves and clear waters.

Pearl Farm

The Pearl Farm in Davao is one of the premiere beach resorts in Davao. The beach also has pristine white sands. It is ideal for those who want a relaxing and quiet treat because of its tranquil and unspoiled exotic seascape teeming with life. You can find around the area some amazing flora and fauna. It is found in a secluded location and has charming cottages.

Siargao

This is the ideal place for surfers in the Philippines as waves can reach a vertical length of up to 12 feet high. Because of this, it is well known to be the surfing capital of the Philippines. Surfers from around the world also place Siargao among the best surfing destinations. It’s pristine beaches also offers wonderful place to visit for beach lovers.

Pagudpud

Pagudpud is known to be the “Hawaii of the Philippines.” It is located in Ilocos Norte in the northern part of the Philippines. This place is more secluded compared to Boracay. It has beautiful white sands and has strong winds and waves which makes it also an ideal place for surfers.

Mactan Island

It is a well known island resort with lots of entertainment activities, tourist attractions, and historical sites to visit. Located in Cebu, there are lots of private beaches to choose from and offers recreational activities and amenities that visitors would really enjoy.
